I have a job offer from a Canadian company that qualifies under NAFTA. I'm a Mexican citizen. I'm hoping to get a three year permit at the border. However, I called CIC to check if I needed a medical exam as the CIC website says Mexico doesn't require one and yet other information seems to suggest I do. The woman at CIC said it was up to the border officer who processes my application.
Does anyone have any feedback on this? I'd hate to make the trip and be turned away! (FYI I am currently in Canada on a visitor visa).
