I know that a foreigner which got a job offer from a Canadian employer, can enter Canada and start working only if LMO was successfully passed. In other words it works in the following way. First, a foreigner get an offer, than the employer asks Canadian government if he (employer) is allowed to hire this foreigner, and after the government says "OK", the foreigner can enter Canada and start working (having temporal-foreigner-worker-visa).
I also know that if a foreigner has a job offer from a Canadian employer, he (foreigner) can apply for the FSW immigration program. I am wondering if in this case the LMO also needed. And if it is the case, I wonder if there is a difference between the LMO for the FSW immigration and LMO for the temporal worker visa.
By the way, to be able to apply for the FSW immigration program the foreigner has to have an offer for a permanent job or it is not a necessary requirement?
Thank you in advance.
