I have no knowledge of French - should I go for TEF. If yes, is there any center in Delhi, India

Have you maxed out everything else possible on the CRS tool?

Yep - awaiting my spouse's ECA - would increase my score to 452 and there's no other way I could increase my score further

To be perfectly honest, if you have to start from scratch the chances of getting a good score at TeF are fairly small, unless you are willing to spend 9-12 months of fairly intense french training on it.

It is more difficult than IELTS, so unless you are willing to put in a lot of time and effort, it will most likely not pay off, especially since tef is also quite a bit more expensive.

I tried it and I consider myself linguistically gifted. It is ridiculously hard. Unless you're willing to seriously become fluent in French, the exam is hard to game.

Yeah, that's what everybody has said so far, even those who are fluent in French said that it is not an easy test to score very high on.

I think without any previous knowledge of French, it is probably not worth trying at all.

I had no exposure to French whatsoever...i gave the exam once after a brief coaching of three months and got a benefit of 1 point bcoz of B1 in writing ....the coaching fees and exam fees etc cost me 50,000₹ :'(...for one crs point ::)...i guess not worth it
