Is it wise to submit Visas for Canada at this point?

Is it a wise decision to apply for TRV at this point for Canadian visas, judging by the recent ravaging and spiking case of the global pandemic.
I have travel history to Rwanda, Benin Republic and UAE. I am from Nigeria. I am not married, I work as a software Engineer for 2 companies, one is a Financial institution.

I really need advice on this Issue.

Why do you want to travel to Canada? For tourism? If so, now isn't a good time to apply. Processing times are very long. There are travel restrictions in place that would prevent you from traveling unless you fall under an exception. It doesn't make sense to be planning a tourism visit to Canada right now. I would personally wait until later in 2021.

Depends what global conditions are like in Easter and what travel restrictions are still in place

It is likely going to be closer to 2022 before any tourism starts. Based on your travel history and the fact that so many Nigerians have claimed asylum in Canada recently I would suggest travelling to other countries like the US or a European country first. Canadian visas are harder to receive versus some other countries. It is still unclear why you want to come to Canada.
