Is it possible to use same GIC for multiple applications of children?

I am applying for the Canada International Student Permit for my kids as they have to stay here for more than six months. Each application requires a GIC of 10K.
Do I need one GIC per application or only one can work if applications are for the minor dependents?

Study permit requirements for international students required every applicant to show funds of at least 10K CAD as GIC, so if you are applying for two applications, you would need a total of 20K CAD as GIC to show.

Note: I am not an expert in this, better to wait for other champion members to answer or call IRCC directly early in the morning.
