Is it possible to apply for PRTD within Canada

Hi,

I am new landed immigrant and still haven't got my PR Card. It will take another month to get that. But, I need to leave Canada on an Emergency Basis right now and then have to re-enter Canada after 7 days.

I wanted to know, is it possible to apply and get the PRTD within Canada. If possible, what is the processing time.

Nope, it is not possible, has to be applied at in an overseas office.
