If we have applied for a spousal sponsorship from the UK, will it affect my partner's application if he moves to Pakistan while the application is in process, or can we simply update CIC about the move?

I believe your partner can move since it's outland application but l will advice your partner to get the necessary documents they can request from him or her e.g like the police report, copy of the residence if your partner don't have that before and you can notify cic about changing of address, this are my opinion, good luck
