Is it possible for international student to switch from college to language inst

Hi I'm an international student and I recently arrived in Canada with study permit for college, but I found that I do not enjoy the program I'm doing right now plus I wish to improve my English skill first. So if I withdraw my current will I be able to stay in Canada and apply for my study in language institute??

Can anybody help me please.

Or I need to go back to my country and apply for new visa status??
