Is it ok to use the CHANGE of ADDRESS IN CIC WEBSITE or need to write them?

Hi I just want to ask if it safe to use the Change of Address portion in the CIC Website? Because it's been three weeks since I changed my address in their website (CIC) but so far don't reflect yet in my ECAS. Do I need to write and inform them about my change of home and mailing address? ANd if yes what is the complete/mailing address to send to? Thanks a lot.

Finally they changed my mailing and home address in my ecas. It took 6 weeks before CIC changed it.
