Is it OK to carry others PR outside Canda

Hi,
My friend's PR is mailed to my home address. My friend is in my home country now, and since I am planning to go to my home country for a vacation, he asked me to carry his PR to my home country. I was wondering if I can do that. Is it legal?! Do I need to let the border officer know about my friend's PR? Thanks

Yes you can bring the PR card. No you don't need to tell the border officer.
