I am currently working in HCL, and i resigned on 23rd May, 2014
As per my company's policy i am serving 3 months notice period and my last working day is 20th aug, 2014
Do i need to get a letter issued from HR stating that i have currently resigned and so my last working day is 20th aug?

I am getting a letter issued from HR stating this :

This is to certify that Parul Khanna is currently employed with HCL Technologies Ltd as a Software Engineer. Her department is ERS Consumer Electronics. Employee Date of Joining with us is 25-July-2012.



This letter is issued to employee on her request for visa application.
 
Sir, it would be better to mention the date. But if its difficult for you to do it, I don't think it will be a huge issue.

Mention the resign date and last working date , right?
 
For us to properly advise u when are applying for prmit & how long it takes to decide on ur application in ur area
 
not required. m working in infyosys and applied for visa.. so need not to add any document stating ur last working day in company for Visa

and average processing time for my country is 3 weeks

More than enough. Go ahead with the application.
 
I didnt had the guts to resign before visa so I took an experience certificate stating my current JDs and time of employment.

Pls go ahead with the letter, you will still be with your employer for the duration of ur visa application precess in case there is any confirmation from emabassy. Again giving last working day is a pitfall in your application. Your employment is one of your ties to your home country. Even if you are out of the job before confirmation, the company will not still deny u just ensure u put your HRD on alert in case of confirmation. Best of luck.
 
I am going to apply for SPP VISA. I have 3 years of work experience, should I attach the Experience details while applying for VISA? The SPP checklist doesn't talk about it, looks like they need only latest graduation certificate.

Samyn, u did not tell when the 3 yrs experience was earned, is it concurrent with ur study or after ur study? if it is after ur study how do u explain the gap? so this is where it is necessary to explain the working just as explanation of gap.
 
Related to this topic i have a question.
Does the company need to mention the annual salary on this certificate. Actually, no documents like pay slips and all have been asked to show monthly income. So is it really needed?
