Is it necessary to report family "loans" with no legal obligation?

The "Proof of Means of Financial Support" requirement mentions that the bank letter should "list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans".

In my case, there is a monthly transfer of ~$1000 USD that I make to my mother's bank account with the description "House payment". Basically, she sold us the house and we are paying for it in monthly installments with no interest (and no legal contract or obligation).

Do I need to prove or disclose this somehow?

Is your bank able to write you a letter? If so, then CIC won't see this payment on your statements.
