I will apply for PR in Canada under Federal skilled worker. I want to know if is it necessary for me to put the name of my ex husband in the application form? We are separated since 2006 but we dont have legal separation papers as there is no divorce in the PHILIPPINES.Should I still need his signature and the names of his sisters and brothers in my application? Hope you can help me.

Yes, you have to list your spouse, even though you are separated. As he would be non accompanying you don't require his signature. You will require proof of the separation probably.

thank you so much for your reply. I am relieved from the problem of getting his requirements as well.

But can I ask another concern? Since we dont have divorce paper as proof of separation, Is affidavit that we are separated enough document as proof that we are separated?

Thank you very much.

If that is all you can produce, then that will have to suffice. It should include the date of marriage, date of separation.
