Is it necessary to export the vehicle to Canada?

Hello,

I wanted to know if it is mandatory to export the vehicle to Canada? Since, I am planning to move back to US in a couple of years. Also, I will be going back and forth to US on a daily basis. Is there an issue driving a US plated vehicle in and around Canada?
Will I asked to export the vehicle during my permanent stay in Canada?

Are there any legal implications residing in Canada and not having the car exported?

Yes, if you are in Canada as a PR, my understanding is that you have to import the vehicle to Canada:
