Hi,

I am working in Bangalore in Digital Marketing field with 5+ years of experience. I am earning a decent amount (12 -15 LPA).

My main objective of moving to Canada is to Earn more money & Better Lifestyle (Better air, less pollution, corruption, etc.)

Please help me with these questions-
  1. Is it worth leaving my current life and moving to Canada
  2. Will I be really able to save money?
  3. Will I be able to sustain the same lifestyle (able to rent a decent house, afford things, lead a comfortable life)
  4. Will it be too depressing?
Please share your experience.

If you are coming to make more money or a live better lifestyle and already have a good paying job, have a home, car, lots of household help, etc. then I wouldn’t say it makes sense. You will likely have to do all your own cooking, cleaning, shopping, driving or use public transportation, you may struggle to get on the property ladder especially in some cities. If you are looking for adventure, looking to live in a more diverse society, looking for a place with less pollution, etc. those are good reasons to move to Canada. The other things to consider is whether you are determined to live with your parents. Although it is somewhat possible eventually in Canada there are no guarantees that the program will continue and in what form. The demand will always substantially be above the spots available (if the program is running that year).

It's depressing if you follow the posts of some posters such as @david1697 - the US might be even better - better economy while having same pollution levels and air quality as in Canada.
