Is IELTS necessary for student visa?

The two universities I applied in didn't ask for my IELTS score as I have done my undergrad in the UK where the language of delivery was English.

BUT!! Do I still have to submit any kind of English test results for the student visa? (Study Permit / TRV)

No you don't, it's weird universities didn't ask you for a language test but don't worry not necessary for a student visa

Well, the universities verified that I have studied in English all my life. On top of that, my undergraduate degree is from a British university in England. I am just happy that I have to deal with less of these annoying tests and stuff.
