Is IELTS exam mandatory while applying for Spouse PR??

Hello,

I am a Canadian resident from past 3 years. I am getting married in couple of month and I want to apply for my wife's PR post marriage. I will be sponsoring her and will be submitting the application form. My question is does my wife have to give IELTS Exam before we apply for her PR??

Not if you're sponsoring her as a spouse.
