Hello,

I have a dream to live in Canada. To fulfill that, I have completed IELTS on 2nd April 2016 with overall 7.5 bands. The details of each module is as below.

Listening - 8.5
Reading - 7.5
Writing - 6.5
Speaking - 6.5

My other details are as below.

Age: 32 years (DOB-2-July-1983)
Education : Bachelor of Commerce & PGDCA (from C-DAC, Govt. of India)
Experience : 8+ Years ( in Search Engine Optimization and Online Marketing)

Wife's Details are as follow.

Wife's Age : 31 Year (DOB-30-Sep-1984)
Wife's Education : Bachelor of Commerce
Wife's Occupation : House Wife
Wife's IELTS Score : Exam Not Taken

Son's Age : 5 Years (DOB-11-Nov-2010)

You can see that I have different work experience than my education stream.

I visited many Immigration consultant in Ahmedabad, India regarding express entry PR VISA in Canada. Some of them told me that you can apply even if you have different experience field than education. While some says that it's not possible to apply for express entry if you have different experience field than education.

Also some of them told me that it's compulsory to give IELTS exam for spouse too. While, some consultant denied that spouse must need IELTS and they told that you can apply for express entry even if spouse don't appear for IELTS.

I am really confused. Am I eligible for Express Entry? If not is it possible to get PR (state sponsorship) for Ontario or Manitoba?

Can anybody help?

Education and Work experience need not be in line with each other, IRCC will accept it.

Spouse IELTS and ECA are optional but will add extra points if done.

Having said that, try to increase your score in writing and speaking by 0.5 points, that should give you a lot of CRS points.

You can calculate your score and eligibility on the below tool.

The consultants are talking rubbish as usual. None of them really understand the process. For Australia your education and work ex in line does give you but nothing like that in Canada.

You need to improve you IELTS results - You need a 8 in Listening and 7 in rest of them for a CLB 9. Your wife needs to take the IELTS too, she should ideally score as much as possible but a 6+in each section should also be good.

It is not compulsory.

However, if you are masters you should try and score 8777(LRWS)

Your NOC must be 0124/1123?
