Is ICAS or WES required to be able to recognized our education?

I want to know how my bachelor degree in the Philippines be recognized by any graduate school in Canada. Please can anybody help me.

What for? Usually, universities do evaluation themselves.

If the university requests the evaluation then WES and ICAS are good enough. HOW they will evaluate depends on your school.

because the university evaluates my bachelor degree as less than those other bachelor. they said that in order for me to have earned the equivalent of canada Honours Bachelors degree, I would require a Bachelors and a Master’s from the Philippines.

if you're going to study in alberta, u need IQAS,
Ontario colleges/universities need WES. I applied for WES but no hard copy of evaluation result received.

I already have IQAS and the comparative states that my BSc is equivalent to 3years of BSc Canada instead of 4yrs. Do you have the same? I havent try getting WES but do you think it will also says 3 yrs bec mostly grad prog in ON requires 4yrs Bachelor degree. Can you share your WES data?

yap same with wes.i applied last oct 2013 and received the result 2014 feb.please visit WES canada website. high school and college transcripts are required with diplomas..most collages in ontario require WES evaluation.

WES approved by OCAS only as a service provider. It's not must to use their services.

So you mean to say WES states that your Bach degree is comparable to Canadian 3yrs Bach degree? were you not consider in masters in Canada?

Any body there
