Is GIC mandatory for second course ?

If I happen to pursue another 1 year PG Diploma course after completing the 1st, then while extending my study permit .... shall I have to pay GIC again ? or just the course fee?[/size][/size]

since u will be extending ur existing study permit u need to follow extension check list and not SPP check list. However if u dont take a GIC but u do have to show ur proof of financial support may be in terms of bank statements etc
