Is gabling criminal offence?

Hi all,

Gambling is against law in some provinces of India. If someone's case for breaking this law is in court and not resolved yet. Is it criminal offence? Is there any effect on visitor visa application?

Criminality would depend on there being an equivalent law in Canada....and there isn’t. Keep in mind, you still need to include it in the application regardless or it’s misrepresentation. And that is a crime in Canada.
