Is foreign work mandatory to be able to apply for FSW?

Hi,

I have no foreign work experience. I have a one year continuous work experience from Canada under NOC B (from feb 2014- march 2015). I did not manage to apply for CEC during that 3 years period due to some personal issue. I was wondering if I can use those work experience for FSW or do I need a foreign work experience to be eligible for FSW. Thank you.

It looks like you can use that experience for the CEC.

The CRS tool asks: "In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?"

IRCC must have changed the CEC eligibility requirements, because I remember that a few years ago the question asked: "In the last three years..."
