Is everything usually via email or do some things come via post?

I'm just trying to understand the logistics and if there is a chance we might miss something coming via mail. We are currently living in Germany and have just applied Outland. We plan to move to Canada in July, with the principal applicant coming along as a visitor and then extending if the 6 month limit approaches. However, that means that any postal mail sent to the German address given on the application wouldn't reach us.

If you provided an e-mail address, then all correspondence should be through e-mail. When you go to Canada, update CIC with your Canadian address. The COPR will be mailed, as it is an official document and you need the original.
