Is education loan still necessary,even if paid 1st semester fee and GIC ???

i have paid 1st semester fee and GIC recieved.
Is it still necessary to take education loan?
Someone told me that it is necessary....
Plz help!!

If its not in the checklist then not necessary.I think for SPP loan is not necessary if you have done GIC and paid fees.

If you have already paid your first semester fees and have a strong bank account, then there is no need for a loan!

For applicants applying under SPP, they do not need to show any financial documents once paid at least one semester fee and purchased GIC of 10k CAD. You do not even need to show your parents income proofs in fact if you go through the checklist, it is strongly recommended not to provide extra doc unless asked for.

it's okay, no harms showing it. But it's not required as said buddy. so what i said earlier is enough in terms of funds.

i got visa under spp.
we need to show only GIC and pay 1 sem. /1 yr. fees if you follow the SPP checklist.
I had taken an education loan so I showed the loan letter too.
I think it makes our profile look good to show education loan.
If you going to apply for sept. intake, then i dont think there is enough time to get a loan processed.you will miss the deadline to file visa.


these are all my opinion but please seek other opinions also before doing anything
