Is Education Certificate to be submitted while applying for CEC?

I am planning to apply CEC under 2174 NOC code i.e Computer programmer and interactive media dev .

Document checklist on CIC website doesnt ask for education certificate? Has anyone had the experience of applying without education certificate.

You dont need education certificate to apply. If its regulated ocupation in Canada you would need it. But as computer programmer You dont need anything
