is edmonton right choice to settle with computer operator exp. and mba degree

what are the prospects in edmonton for computer operator job with 4 yrs experience along with mba in hospital management ( but no experience in it). i have heard that edmonton has jobs in technical field. but does it have computer operator or hospital manager jobs ???

Now job market is dull in Alberta due to low oil price. Generally it was good for engineers with oil & gas experience.

thanks for the reply . but is it dull for all occupations? what do they do with computer related works? do they dont have hospitals were they require hospital managers. i already know that it was good for engineers with oil nd gas exp. but i doubt that they dont have only one field of jobs in the whole city. what are the prospects for my field? also will the dull job market be forever or will it recover in future?

Government. Edmonton was indeed a bit better off than Calgary because of government jobs and that Nisku and Leduc is still kinda running. It's bad for everyone around, not only energy and material sector. For a place so dependent on these cyclical industry it is expected to go up and down a lot

thanks for replying again. if everyone is affected then how people are still immigrating to this city? what about ainp, its still running , if there is no job then how are folks getting nomination? i am not trying to forcefully believe people what cant be true, but these are my queries because my close friend is an edmonton resident hence i have plans for my son to settle there in future. hence i created this thread on his behalf. i also wonder how hospitals and computer related jobs be be affected by low price of oil? i dont think it has any link with the above mentioned fields. plz clear my doubts.
