Hello,

I have a MBBS and a M.Tech from India. I also completed my PhD in Canada.

I did get an ECA from my MBBS degree. Would an ECA be required for the M.Tech degree as well?

I am aware that I will get the maximum points as I have a PhD (from Canada). However in the absence of the ECA for my Master's (M.Tech), will there be any issues. I do not want my application to be rejected.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Its not mandatory to go for ECA of all degrees but preferred is the highest one which gives you highest CRS point in express entry profile. Process ECA only for Degree which you want CIC to consider while calculating your total score which is PHD here so MTech not mandatory. However, when you will go to Canada and would like to work where you think M Tech will help you then get the same assessed. It doesn't matter how many degrees, anyways WES charges same amount for either 1 or more degrees.

You only need education analysis for highest foreign degree, Since your highest degree is PHD from Canada you don't have to obtain credential assessment because you would have already claimed maximum points for education from Canada degree.
