Hi everyone, I currently meet the requirements of CEC and encounter a problem.
I have already got an one-year certificate in Canada and a three-year diploma in my hometown. Do I still need to obtain an ECA for my foreign education if I determine to waive the extra points? I am a little bit apprehensive because my foreign education is sort of higher than my Canadian education.
Could anyone clarify it? Thank you very much!

If you are not counting the points, you don’t need an ECA. So you count one year certificate.

Yes, this is exactly what I am expecting. And I plan to choose the ee pnp stream so the bonus points for education won't bother me.
