Is there nothing better you guys can discuss that make brilliant relevance to this forum, and why not keep those convos out of the public domain. No offense, what help will recorded calls do to anyone on here?

lol this is the most random thing ive read on this group.

what do you think makes most sense? what do you think would be the pros and cons of recording or not recording calls.
lets have a full discussion?
both you guys present your case and the users of this board vote to select a winner.

Well my guess is that he was being rude to an agent and now he worries that his behavior on the phone will negatively impact his file.

Applying for permanent residence is a huge deal for the applicants - it's a process that will change their lives forever.

For call centre agents, it's just a job. They answer your questions and move on to the next one. They have a few smoke breaks, eat their lunch, and at the end of the day they go home.

They're not writing notes or plotting to get your application canceled or "putting in complaints".

But in answer to your question, next time you call listen carefully to what they say - does it say that the call might be monitored or recorded? They legally have to tell you, so your answer will be found there.
