Is cateogry IM1 qualifies as a multiple entry visa?

I have canada visa of type IM1 and it expires on 9th August, 2018. I will be landing in Vancouver on June 5th, and then I plan to go to Europe/US for a month and then I will be coming back to Canada in July. So I wanted to know if IM1 is a multiple entry visa or not.

IM-1 is a single use visa for the specific purpose of travelling to Canada to land as a Permanent Resident. Once you have landed, ALL your Canadian visas become void.

have IM 1 visa immigrant from India valid from 15th April 2018 to 14 April 2019. I am planning to travel in feb or March from Delhi as I need to be in Canada before 14th April for my PR card. Can i take one way ticket or I need return ticket as well?
Secondly can I buy my return for October,2019 ? Or return needs to be within 6 months or return ticket should be before then the validity of IM 1 visa. Plz suggest

As you are landing as a PR you can travel on a one way ticket or a return if you want to, if for example it is more economical to buy a return for a home country trip.

For the PR landing a one way is fine and CBSA will not care even you have a return .Not sure what you are asking about 6 months given the validity of the return is not relevant to any landing, once landed you can come and go as you please as long as you have a PR card or PRTD to come back.

You'll be landing as a permanent resident dude!

If you have a 1 way or 2 way ticket doesn't matter!

Why do you think it's PERMANENT residency?

Ask your father/family if you all are still PR's
Probably will need to reapply as PR status requirements haven't been met......apply for a PRTD @ Canadian Embassy or VFS in New Delhi
