Is Canada Work Experience Considered if working in Canada for US Employer

Hi,

On Open work permit , if working for US employer in Canada location . Does it be considered as 'Canada Work Exp' for express entry . However the US employer doesn't have any branch in Canada.

Please advise.

What does "Canada location" mean? Are you simply working remote out of your own apartment, or are you working at a client's site?

Where is your payroll? Do you get paid in Canada, in Canadian dollars? Does the company withhold Canadian payroll taxes?
