IRCC Requested New SP Application

I applied for a new study permit in July, as my current one expires in September 2021. I got a letter from IRCC saying this " a new SP application to cover the period you expect to be studying in Canada up until the end of secondary school as your current permit expires shortly. This must be received at this office by: 2021/08/31". What does this mean? I attached all the necessary docs in my application, so not sure what they want me to send them"
