Dear all,

I need some of your thoughts here. IRCC asked about my spouse details for my PR application to be processed but we are not in good terms (not separated/divorced yet). We dont even talk to each other and I cannot provide any documents from her side such as questionnaires for spouse. I already explained IRCC that I am not adding my spouse into my application and still waiting for reply.
Just wondering, would they still ask me for spouse's medical? or they will hold my application until our relationship get normal?
Looking forward to replying from you.
Thank you

Yes, they will still ask for your spouse's medical and also PCCs, as well as the rest of the documents / information.

Even if your spouse is non-accompanying in your application, your spouse must still complete the medical and provide PCCs (so that IRCC can complete the security and background checks). Your application cannot be approved without this information.

The only way you can avoid this is if you are separated / divorced / in the process of being divorced.
