Hello

For matters related to your citizenship application, how does IRCC contact you usually? Is it by mail or email? I may travel for few months after my application and thinking of forwarding my CanadaPost mail to a friend.

Mainly by email for usual steps, like the AOR, exam and oath invitation.
Specific requests (fingerprint, RQ...), if needed, will be sent via snail mail.

if you have provided your valid email address in your citizenship application IRCC will contact you via email. Else it will be regular mail.

Hi i have applied for citizenship and immigration canada in January 2019. so i want to know how much processing time it will take for fingerprinting and all as i m keep check on my profile it is saying.
