Hi, My work permit is a BOWP with case number 27 and my passport is expiring on Jan 2022 but my BOWP is expiring this September 26th. I am quite scared now that I need to renew my passport before I can submit my BOWP renewal application again. I submitted the IRB form requesting the document that I am did not file any refugee claims but it can take up to 30 days to get that letter and then it will take 2-3 months to get my passport renewed.
With this I will be really cutting in close to the BOWP expiry date. I really need this letter ASAP.
1. Is there anything I can do to get the IRB letter? Anyone I can contact?
2. When you submitted this form, did you get any document submission receipt from IRB? If so, how much time did they take to respond and how long did it take to get the letter in the mail?
3. In my GCMS notes, the refugee section is blank which shows that I haven't filed any claim. Will this work for passport submission till the time I get this letter?
