Hello everyone, My friend wants to visit Canada with his family, and all three kids are under 18. So, do I need to send separate invitations for each of them, or will one invitation for the whole family be enough?

Thanks

Just one. Outline their itinerary and that they will cover all their expenses. Invitation letter from a friend is the least important documents.

Hi,

I visited Canada three times between 2019 and 2024, and my visa has now expired. I have started filling out a new application. Since I have also visited the U.S. many times in the last 10 years, and my U.S. visa is still valid for another four years, the system is only asking for the following three main documents:
  • Valid U.S. visa
  • Passport scan
  • National ID card (I am from Pakistan)

Under Additional Documents, it shows:
  • Employer Letter (not applicable)
  • Consent form (not applicable)
  • Additional document (adding sibling proof, old Canada/USA and other visa)

My question is: Do I need to attach an invitation letter, or is it not mandatory under the “Additional Documents” section? Previously, my brother sent me an invitation letter when I applied for the first time, but I’m not sure if it is required now.

Thanks
