and then they invest 400000 cad with government will govt give promisery notes
or some security in order to buy house on mortgage house

1. The Federal Investor category is closed.
2. Plus when it was open you had to invest 800K

I am asking because my friend had already applied in old 400000 cad category he was saying that in 2006 his relative in same category had paid 400000 cad to govt and govt gave him some promisery note or some bond type thing against 400000 cad from which he purchase house on mortgage against these bond or promisery note.
Is it possible ?

Hi,

As far as your friend gets a correct mortgage insurance, he can purchase house.

Regarding your friend's application, beside paying 400K he should prove his net worth, isn't it?

As per my knowledge you can use those Govt. promisery notes as a guarantee to get a mortgage or loan from bank for buying house.

I have also applied under old networth requirment and recently gave an interview in Abudhabi.
