I am an undocumented illegal immigrant that came here last year & my first day here was January 10th 2016, & I have been here for one year. I did not immigrate by choice. Since someone else did it all & with the government documents/ insurances & more. I want to return to school & am a college graduate from outside the country & currently my study visa is expired & have studied abroad & lived abroad more than once. I came over here from living as a permanent resident over in Norway & the only country where I have citizenship is Finland. There is with starting all over again with the government documents and I do not have any of those here with me, legal aid assistance, immigration consultants, immigration settlement & immigration mentor/mentorship programs needed, etc. Currently, I live in London Ontario Canada.

When did you legal status in Canada expire?

Just to add - if your legal status in Canada expired more than 90 days ago, then it's too late to restore your status from within Canada. Your only option is to leave Canada.

If your legal status expired less than 90 days ago, you should file for restoration as soon as possible.

Right you need to advise how exactly you entered Canada in Jan 2016. Was it on study permit, visitor status, etc?

If on study permit when did it expire OR when did you stop attending school?

It is more complicated than that , since I did not immigrate here by choice, someone else did it all, without me knowing any of it. I can not even leave the province which is Ontario and came over here from being and living as a permanent resident in Norway with my partner.

Someone else did it all without me knowing any of it here and I do not have any of my documents here either and need to start all over again. My study visa is expired and do not remember when it expired and did an extra fifth year in college in Tromso, Norway and graduated there too in 2014. I wanted to start university a few years after and was on maternity leave at the time in 2015 and started to go through the process of getting a new study visa there, someone else stopped it and did it all. Now here, I want to return to school even though I need and have to start all over again with getting a new study visa here and the applications for a new study visa.

You need to find out when your study permit expired. We cannot help you unless you do that.

If your study permit expired more than 90 days ago, then you have to leave Canada. You cannot apply for a new study permit from within Canada. It is impossible.

It's obvious that this old post is also you. You've posted your story before.[/QUO

What do you mean by that I have posted my story before? The first part sounds insulting and a bit rude. I'm not that old. Or this post, I just posted this here recently. I was banned from another immigration forum and no one even replied when I was in the Road to Canada immigration forum, before I came here.

You already posted your story on this forum, in Nov 2016. Your user name then was "TatianaWintherWaisanen", so this is obviously you.
