Seniors & fellow aspirants,

I have an option open to move to Canada thru Intra Company Transfer.

Can I show this as a job offer to gain point in EE CRS?
As ICT option is exempt from LIMA, what documents would I be required to submit to prove the job offer?

Thanks

no LMIA, no 600 points, no exception

You can't get points for that job offer, but if you take it and stay in it for a year in Canada, you will have points for "Canadian Experience". Some lawyers are working hard to convince CIC to offer at least some points for LMIA-exempt jobs, because the current system is disfavoring people with Canadian experience, which is what the government has said it wants in the past.

Techiemanager,

If you are aspiring to move there then whether its through Intra company or through PR, take the first legal option you get which in your case is currently with Intra company transfer. In parallel, you can start preparing your application for PR through EE. A word of caution, prepare all the documents that you will need in the EE process before you move there!

This is true. If you take the ICT you can work on that permit while applying through EE for PR. After a year, you will be eligible for CEC, and right away you could be eligible for FSW, depending on your number of points. You won't get the 600 for the ICT job, but lots of people (including me) got invitations to apply without an LMIA.
