Intra company transfer & Wife pregnant (is this a problem?)

Hi there,

Looking for some advice as I am moving to Canada from March ‘19 on an Intra company transfer work permit from the U.K.>Toronto. My wife is now pregnant (12 wks) and we are hoping that this won’t be an issue to get the work permit granted upon entry (as U.K. citizens we are able to do this at the airport on entry) and are planning a house hunting trip at the end of January.

Any inputs or past experiences from others that could assist us would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

No issue apart from the fact that she won't have any health care coverage for the first three months she is here. You'll have to pay for any care out of pocket or purchase private insurance to cover yourselves.
