Dear All,
I request your help and opinion on my matter, I have applied for FSW application before June 2010 in NOC 0213 category. Current status of the application is "Received in Visa office" at Buffalo, USA.
My company has agreed to transfer me from USA to Canada on Intra Company Transfer and this transfer needs to be completed by April 15th,Considering my situation, can any one please clarify my queries listed below,

a) Should both applications can be /should be combined and presented when I go for my visa interview
b) will there be any other legal issues or downstream impact to my FSW application that needs to be considered
c) what have people in my kind of situation done in past ? , what is CIC recommendations to cases similar to mine
d) I have requested for a visa interview in NY city office rather than in Buffalo which is very far from my current location, is this the right move or the wrong move

So far my FSW application processing lawyers i.e. Canadavisa have also not clarified on my questions, nor my company lawyers. So please the experts of this forum , help me out ...help me out....

MSINUS:

I went through the same in 2010. Your Immigration application has nothing to do with your Work Permit process (Intra Company transfer). However you shall specify in your WP application that you have an Immigration application pending for processing (you have to just specify the immigration application # in your WP application).

(1) Immigration and WP can't be combined. They will be processed separately by the Canadian Visa office (Buffalo or NY)
(2) If you specify your Immigration application # in your WP application, you are covered from all ends.
(3) As I said, I am in exact similar situation as yours. Specified my immigration file number in my WP application
(4) If Buffalo is close to you, you can go to Buffalo. I too went to Buffalo for my WP. My Immigration file was with them at that time. They had not even asked me about my Immigration application (they had not called for any discussion/interview, simply stamped my WP as I had all documents in place for WP)

Thanks a lot for taking time and responding to my questions, Have a nice day!!!!
