Is there an interview when you apply to Canada as a student?

Not always, however the will call for interview if they feel they need clarification on certain things is what I have heard.

normally they didnt asked for interview. in rear case they asked for it. if they r not satisfied from ur doc they will call for interview.

Like everyone said above, normally no interview is required. However, in certain circumstances they may call you for an interview.
