Could you share few texts (keeping privacy) if you think above that interview is waived? assuming you have GCMS notes or how do u know interview is not requested?

I have just requested GCSM notes today...

I have come to know that an interview is not requested by using the online tool found at 1-888-242-2100

OK I gtchya lets wait for the notes then we can look at those. I have phoned the same and also says the same as 1 of many prompts but in my notes no such thing as Interview req or waived

Nothing can be deduced from that. The majority of applicants don't have interviews.

NOT having an interview for spousal sponsorship is normal and true in the large majority of cases. They will only call for an interview as part of the application processing if they have major concerns, in which case not a particularly good sign.

Unless of course you are referring to an inland spousal sponsorship landing 'interview', which is part of the landing process once you have been approved. To call it an 'interview' is truly stretching the definition of the word - normally just a few questions.

My account online said « an interview is not needed at this time... »
But i still had an interview 10mths in.
That toll free number i assume is the same info as online.... that can change unfortunately.
Mine said no interview until 30 days prior to our scheduled interview.
By the looks of it however, if you don’t have any red flags, you probably wont have one

Agreed Members get excited by reading a standard format of info there saying, "You do not need an interview,............................." that appears early stages too, but interview or NOT is decided at the last stages by officers and other inputs in file
