The bottom line is you can not speak on her behalf. The interview helps the officer to confirm your identity and also assess your language ability. If people are allowed to answer for others, how does the officer determine if the person can communicate in English or French?

The whole point of the interview is to assess if the person can communicate in one of the languages, also the separate interviewing is very effective against Citizenship fraud.. where parties might answer differently to the same questions and voila! show them the exit...
