If a PR renewal application is sent to a local CIC office (to verify residency obligation), does any one know how often (or in which cases) they call people for an interview? Do they typically call those individuals for an interview who are way off their days (e.g., been out of Canada in a 5 year period for more days than allowed)?
Also, do these offices always send out residency questionnaires or only in specific cases are these sent out? Our file was transferred to the Toronto office last week (we had requested urgent processing) and am desperately hoping to hear from them soon.
