Interview for Outland PR from Australia

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know when the interview is in the visa application process? Is it right at the end before it is officially approved, or more like halfway through? And will it be an in person interview at the Canadian Embassy or a Skype interview?

Interviews are only requires when the visa officer has concerns the relationship isn't genuine. They aren't standard for outland applications.

Thank you so much for your reply! I hope I wont have to have an interview because I am hoping to travel to Canada at the end of the year to live on a tourist visa for a while until my PR visa is approved (which will hopefully be shortly after I arrive). If I need to return to Australia for an interview I will, but it's an expensive plane ticket...

Well hopefully you do not tell CBSA you are planning to live in Canada on a tourist visa, just saying.
