Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hello! I just wanna ask, for those people who had been sponsored as a spousal or common law and had their application done inside Canada, did you guys undergo any interview before CIC made their decision? If so, how was the interview? I've been told by my consultant that before CIC grant and give the final decision they'll schedule us in for interview... i just wanna know if that's true and how does the interview goes...
all this time i thought its only for outland applicants and for those who have a redflag...
thank you so much :)

Same here new to this but have always thought interviews are only for out-land applicants... I should prepare myself then

All inland applicants land at an interview at a CIC office. The landing interview is pretty straightforward, very similar to the landing interview for outland applicants. They ask the same questions that are on the COPR, and often ask the sponsor if they still wish to sponsor the applicant.

so they ask and see how genuine is the relationship? we are not yet married but we've been living together for two years and had a kid together, aside from our pictures, and letters from our family and friends, we dont know how else we can prove that our relationship is legit...

A landing interview is just a formality, as mentioned. Inland applicants can also be called for an interview for the relationship, which is the same as an outland interview. If you are requested to attend that kind of interview, the letter often indicates what you should bring.
