Interview Done on October 30, 2012 ( Spousal Sponsorship)

Hi Guys!

We had an interview on 30th October 2012 and it went well. The Visa officer said that She had approved my application and she is satisfied that our relation is genuine and bona fide; She gave all our photographs and other evidences back to us and kept my passport. But she said it will take 1-2 month to get my passport back with visa. it seems like a long wait, I am just wondering if someone else had the same kind of experience? I also want to mention that I had a long travel history and I had submitted my five passports.

Please share your experience.

Congrats! How was the interview, was it tough? How long was it? Did they interview both you and your spouse? Would like to hear more as we have our own interview coming up later this month and I think I'm gonna die from stress before we get there!

Fingerprint check Mailed to RCMP 4/4/2012
email from buffalo that application is in process and they they are unable to provide a date as to when the processing of my application will be complete 4/12/2012
Results sent by RCMP to Buffal Consulate for fingerprints per 5/25/2012 email from RCMP 5/11/2012
Notification via email that case was transferred to Ottawa 6/22/2012
Ottawa help desk email states file was transffered and is working thru a large number of files at same time 9/17/2012
Ottawa help desk sends email stating that I should hear from an agent within 2 months 10/17/2012

good to hear that it went well and that your visa is approved! for the exact timeline, you could try posting on the New Delhi thread, you might get more chances of hearing about how long it takes to get the visa back.

Dear Stevelo,

Interview was not that tough. The most of the questions VO asked from our applications and the supporting evidences we had sent. Don't stress and just attend the interview with the confidence and with the smile
