hi guys....
i have applied for pr under fsw in noc 4152 in jan 2011 with my spouse. i had a lovely daughter in june 16 2012 which i informed to them before she was born. my vo suggested me to submit her docs within 15 aug 2012. as it took long time to get her pp i couldnt submit on given time. in nov my vo called me for immigration selection interview in chc abhu dhabi which was impossible for me to attend as i didnt have pp of my daughter and i requested them to change my interview venue frm abhu dhabi to london stating my problem in detail. the vo cancelled my interview at abhu dhabi and told me they would contact me for another interview date. it has been more than 5 months they havent contacted me. in the mean time i submitted my baby's docs before 2 months but got no response till now...
so i am much perplexed n worried....
do u guys have any similar idea or experience?????

It is going to be okay. Once they open your file and review it, they put a future date (brought forward date or BFD) on it and put it aside to review it again. So probably in a few months they will come back to it. Now that you have sent the PPs of your daughter, when they open your file, they will send you another interview date. Even if you send documents before that date, your file is not going to be opened before that date. So when the time comes, they will have your documents and it is time for you to called for an interview again.

thanksss rockin canada for your informative post...
do u have any idea about how long it takes for bfd i mean to reopen the file...can they waive the interview at this stage...do they manage the interview venue as we request....
plss share ur experiences...

To my knowledge, once the processing is started, they do not generally change the venue. Nobody knows what the BFD would be. it would depend on the sequence of the files they are processing. I would encourage you to order GCM or CAIPS and see what is going on with your file.

Hi,

One of my friend has the same situation. He couldn't attend his interview due to unavailability of visa of his wife, and informed VO through email.

It has been 3-4 months after that, and the VO replies him to wait for further instructions.

I think they are overburdened at the moment and trying to finalize the cases of applicants who've already done their medicals.

Dont worry, u will get ur interview call, or Medicals (may be, I hope so :)) very soon.

Hi Nashe
Did your friend who was waiting for interview call get any response from the visa office? If yes how long did it take to get another interview date once the first date was missed?
Pls share if u have any information...
