That makes two of us. We will certainly not let CIC say NO and let them get away. My partner has gone through their manuals and policies in such details that his MP's assistant once asked if he works for Immigration while he was seeking help. Yea, very stupid of that MP's assistant to ask. If he was working for immigration he certainly wouldn't have gone to the MP for help.

Anyway, if you think about that feeling in your belly bad will come out of it. Yes, easier said then done but I have learned and still learning not to keep those negative or 'what if' thoughts.

Good luck again!

The only downside is I don't pay too much attention to how much those bills are because my partner is the one who takes care of the monthly bill payments.

From what I've seen in numerous appeal cases, you ought to have some idea of how much the bills are, especially large stable amounts like the mortgage payment. If you don't even know hows much the mortgage payment is, they will find it hard to believe that you actually own it jointly and that your income and expenses are pooled. Even is almost all the money is being pooled from your husband, that's the way you have to look at it.

There are a lot of marriages where one spouse looks after paying more of the bills, but this doesn't really look all that good from an immigration context.

Yea I kinda figured that too. I have a very vague idea of what the values are but not anything concrete and confident when sharing with someone else.
